About Me
My name is Meagan , I figured, actually was told, you might like to see the face behind the flowers. I named my business after my late grandma, Shirley. My grandma was the one who led the way with growing flowers and shared her love of plants all throughout my childhood. My grandfather was also a huge dahlia lover and always grew dinner plate dahlias! He shared tubers 25 years ago and that dahlia still grows in the front garden to this day! I personally have been growing dahlias for over nine years now and still feel like I can never grow enough! With the dahlia "wars" I found it hard to purchase varieties that were in demand, I would receive less than desirable tubers that were mislabeled most of the time. So about four years ago Shirley The Flower Truck was born, I started by selling my blooms locally here in the PNW and moved towards selling tubers. I am on a mission to sell high quality tubers that are healthy and true to variety!
